1. Who we are
Marienbad Info Catalog is an informational online directory of tourist places and services in Mariánské Lázně / Marienbad.
The project operates as a private initiative and is not a legal entity until registration.
The activity is carried out in accordance with EU and Czech law, including:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
- Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA — Digital Services Act)
- Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive)
- Zákon č. 110/2019 Sb.
- Zákon č. 127/2005 Sb.
- Zákon č. 480/2004 Sb.
The project does not conduct commercial activity, accept payments or conclude contracts through the website. Voluntary messages sent through the contact form or by email are processed only to reply to the message.
2. What data we collect
We do not create user accounts, customer areas or personal data records for registration, payment, booking, profiling or advertising.
If a user voluntarily sends a message through the contact form or email, we receive only the data the user provides: name, email, company or place, subject and message. This data is used only to reply and is not published on the website.
We use technical cookies required for the website to work and analytics cookies only after the user gives consent through the cookie banner. Analytics is used in aggregated form and is not used by us to identify the user.
3. Analytics
After user consent, we may use a web analytics tool, for example Google Analytics 4, which provides statistical data:
- number of visits
- viewed pages
- device and browser type
- country of visit
We do not use this data to identify users, profile users or provide personalized advertising.
4. Company information sources
We do not use third-party materials without permission.
All company information is prepared manually by the project team, is based on factual data such as name, address and contacts, and does not include copyrighted third-party materials without permission.
If a company voluntarily provides photos or text materials, they may be published on the basis of explicit consent, including consent expressed in electronic correspondence: email, WhatsApp or Telegram.
5. Content and copyright
All website materials, including texts, photos and graphic elements, belong to the project, are created manually or are used with permission from the rights holder.
6. No public user content
The website does not allow public user-generated content (UGC). Users cannot independently upload or publish materials on the website.
The contact form is intended only for private communication with the project and is not a channel for publishing user content.
7. No intermediation
The website is not an intermediary, does not forward messages and does not organize communication between users and companies. For bookings and commercial questions, users contact companies directly.
8. No profiling and algorithms
The website:
- does not use algorithmic recommendations
- does not use personalized content
- does not profile users
9. Transfer to third parties
We do not transfer user data to third parties, except for anonymized statistics from analytics services and technical processing of messages by mail services when a user voluntarily sends a message.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect technical information, but the internet is not a fully secure environment.
11. Policy changes
This policy will be updated after legal entity registration or if the website operation changes.
